Hi all, Just wondering if there is an online warranty/imie/serial check like the iphone for the HTC HD2? I'd like to purchase off the internet but am NOT sure how to check its a real HD2. I had a similar issue trying to upgrade an HTC desire. When the HTC website asks you for your serial number, it is NOT referring to your IMEI number! The serial number that it requires is in fact the manufacturer's (HTC) serial number, which you should find beneath the battery of your phone. Just visit our website and place your unlock codes request on the Products page. We will need the IMEI number of your phone to generate the specific unlock code for your HTC phone model. The IMEI number is the unique serial number that helps in phone recognition. It has to be valid and can be entered on the products.

That rom you have on your phone old like the hills, no wander you seeing problems. :-)
I hope you kept the rom file you downloaded you will need it. All you were missing was the SSPL or HSPL to bypass the security check of your phone’s SPL.
Your friend s/n you used, Does he/she have a English HD2 (none english phone s/n will download none english rom) or do i still have to get a link for the rom for you?

Liverpool, 11 Feb 2010for those cabs i need a program like resco explorer???where can i find such a program? ,not r... moreno the .cab files you just have to copy to your memory card and then install them from there. after each install do a reboot. just like on a pc.
for the reg-edit you need a registry editor.
I gave you the link to one when high tech was talking about rusco. I didn't know you did not download it.

By default it will only show entries in the upcoming 7 days only, until you change the number with the reg-edit. (i change it to 30days)
There is also a reg-edit to change what opens when you tap an entry.

I had to install the “CoOkie’s Home Tab v1.5” cab twice.
The first it just uninstalled the beta cab and put back the original manila.
And on the second install, it was installed.

2. The registry settings are right there on the page
But pay attention to the name in the [ ] because all are in the registry and you can mistake one for the other.
For example.. i had mistaken [CoOkie.CallHistoryLink] for [CoOkie.ShowCallHistory] when i was first doing the edit.

Dear all,
I would like to say a big thank you to Anthony, Transformer and High Tech. Iwth your great postings on this site I have managed to load the Miri and Dutty ROMS (seperately) and loads of apps that make me very happy. Now im running miri and nothing on board has crashed as yet (12 Hours). This ROM has proved that my issue with my bluetooth headphones is ROM related and not the headphones as there is better operation with this ROM but not for me to be satisfied with it. I will be posting a review on www.HTCpedia.com for miri as I might get this sorted.
Thanks again all for your brilliant wisdom on this device.

Cooked ROMs are un-official ROMs
Stop thinking like a child. If you want it, then just get it. Why you need permission from your mommy a.k.a network?

Even the drag and drop to move around the icons work now.
I did the reg-edit to add the call history and this time it dose not overlap with the first four icons like it did in beta 2
I’m also using it with...
The cab to see the home page picture on all tabs that cookie recommended
The cab to make the calendar tab 50% transparent
The cab to make the music tab fully transparent
The cab to make the tab slider transparent.
They all work and look great together.
I did manage to get an icon to disappear when i was dragging it but it came back when i restarted the phone. (This only happened once)

will it do the same as this? :S
